This was a very dramatic, and frustrating read. If you are interested in a heroine that only cares about herself, but is actually treated as a queen, then look no further because this book is for you.

This is a book about a good girl, called Aby, and a bad boy, called Travis. As these two VERY different people meet, they try to fight their attraction. After Abby resist Travis's 'hotness' he makes a bet with her, and if he wins, she has to stay in his apartment. If he lose, then he must stay abstinant for a month.
It's a very cliche story, with the same bad-boy, good-girl theme going on. The same story as many other books with the main characters betting on something and finding love as they grow closer.
Only it's not as cliche as it sounds. I wish it was though.

So I started reading this 'romantic' book full of hopes. I saw how much everyone loved this cute romance story, and I was like 'this must be great'. However, when I started reading, I noticed how selfish Abby was. I also noticed how desperate Travis was, and how the name of the book was supposed to describe him.
Whatever...
The good thing about this book is how all this can actually happen. A relationship can actually become very destructive, and unhealthy. However, the author didn't actually try to solve the issues the characters were facing, but made it too dramatic. Making up, and then breaking up, over and over again. I felt like the book lost its meaning halfway through, and I couldn't finish reading it. I didn't see any messages that can be learned, and it was only a dramatic ride of two fucked up characters who knew their goals, but didn't know how to reach it.

The book dealt with problems such as violence, obsessions, destructive relationships, and sex. The book actually had so much potential at the start, but it lost its credibility since it focused on the drama, not the real issues. It felt like the book message was saying 'If you are dealing with fucked up issues, then don't try to solve it, but show how these issues can lead you to love."
Also, I found that 'Travis hitting someone, or breaking something' scenes every few pages a bit over done. I mean we get the memo, the guy has anger managment problems, but this was very overdone. I had to skip some of these scenes because it was just repitition.
So in the end, I DNF this book. I didn't mind actually because I was pissed most of the time at how these characters who 'love' each other are acting immature. My expectations were very high, and I was very disappointed since it didn't meet all the rave it got.
